BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities 

Lead and coach in the area, including ensuring competence and competence development.  

·        Ensures efficient logistics and supply processes, including safe working methods internally at BorgWarner.  

·        Ensure and follow up that the teams are continuously working and improving KPIs and checkpoints in safety, quality, productivity and cost.  

·        Participates in SCM meetings and follow-ups. Close collaboration with other functions within related processes.  

·        Follow and develop the routines, instructions, policies, rules and processes that exist within the framework of the area of responsibility and ensure that the team does the same.  

·        Within the process, you actively participate in, allocate resources or initiate new projects.  

·        Lead and coordinate the introduction of new work processes and system support. 

·        Financial follow-up in the area, delivering documentation to the budget process 

·        Experiences and skills 

·         Several years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry and is used to working with large material flows. You have a post-secondary/academic education, preferably in Supply Chain.  

·        You have extensive experience of working in business systems and generally good computer skills.  

·        As a person, you are an experienced leader with the ability to organize, manage and engage. The role places demands on your ability to communicate clearly and effectively at a high pace of work.  

·        You can express yourself fluently both orally and in writing in both Turkish and English. 

·        To succeed in this role, you need to be solution-oriented and service-oriented. Being responsible is also an important personal trait.
